So, this weekend the Lakes took on the Hamamatsu Peonix. Saturday was a loss, but Sunday they pulled off a HUGE win, 75-73. What makes this such a dramatic win is the fact that Hamamatsu has a Chinese fella on the team that stands at 7'9" (Ray comes to his shoulder!!) Check out the pics!
Ray played solid as always. 16 points, 4 assists and 7 rebounds he added to the win on Sunday. I would have to say that, along with numerous blocks and steals, this was probably one of Ray's best career games. Let's just say he's a bit sore today :).
Lakes fans can get a bit psychotic, as seen here. This group of gals was literally weeping at joy after the win on Sunday!
The Chinese fella, Sun Ming Ming is just a big, friendly giant. But giant he is! He can stand and grab the rim without leaving the ground, and literally is a wall under the basket. His size, however, makes it a bit difficult to move. Ray was able to use his own speed very much to his advantage.

Oh my goodness! This must have been so intense. That man was huge! It must have been a little different for Ray to play with someone so much bigger than him!
That dude is MASSIVE! Way to use your speed Ray!
I like the chanting "GO Go Ray"
And I think I need a cardboard cutout of Ray.
you look like a runt out there..a fast, skilled runt but really small..wow, big man, yer game is really coming along...were those "jumpers" out on top of the key i saw?
