On Ray's day off on Monday, we headed over to a friend's house for dinner, a favorite meal called "nabe", made by boiling all varieties of meat and veggies in a broth. Angie is American, her husband Taka is from Japan, and they have two delightful boys. It was their eldest boy's birthday! He was SO excited to have two actual Lake Star players come to HIS house for HIS birthday, as he is a big fan. Ray's teammate, Shinya, and his girlfriend Tsugumi, joined us as well!
