This storm hit last week in the afternoon. I've never experienced quite such a wild string of weather. The winds hit so hard we could barely stand up, the rain fell so hard we could barely see out the window, the thunder shook the house, and the lightning showered down in brilliant strikes all across the sky. We were in absolute wonder. Of course, Ray and I had to get out in it! We went down to the lake, where the largest waves we'd seen yet crashed up on the banks. Amazing. We think this was the tail of a typhoon that hit China. Not sure...
