13 weeks already!!

Sol's smiles...

The Claw

For some reason Blogger won't let us post video. If it would, you would be laughing with us.
Recently Sophia has discovered her fist. She will sit and look at her right hand for HOURS, slowly moving her fingers in and out. If she happens to glance away for a moment, her eyes will immediately bounce back to the dangling fist that wobbles in front of her. This has created quite a comedy routine for us. She continues to be our most amazing little girl...

A first Father's Day for Ray...

Sol and Sophia invited Papa out on a date to create a tradition. They went to the pottery studio and put their footprints on a tile for him.

Then we all went out for Sushi :)

We spent the rest of the day snuggling. Our favorite thing to do...

"Home" again...

The Laing Family meant the world to Ray during his five years at U of O, and they continue to be our home away from home. I am blessed enough to have been invited into this family through Ray. They mean so much to us. Needless to say, it was SO good to see them when we returned, and to introduce them to our babies. I don't think Sophie and Sol ever got put down!!

Little Joey was our ring bearer in our wedding. He sure has grown up!!

Brent and Michelle: What a beautiful couple. They are who we strive to be as parents and as individuals. We love you guys so much.

Our Eugene friends...

Sophie Davis had her birthday the week we returned to Eugene. Thank goodness, because she is one person who we were delighted to celebrate with. She is the inspiration behind our daughter's name, and a simply beautiful soul. Happy birthday, dear Sophie...

We met at our favorite dig, Hideaway Bakery... Good friends, wonderful food...

Heron is 2!!

Our little friend, Ms. Heron Garrels, turned two last week. We were able to join in on her festivities...
Her Mama made the traditional carrot, heron's nest cake. YUM!

So many kiddos were there. What a delightful environment...

We made Heron a little book of photos that we took in Japan of the Great Blue Heron that lived down from our house...

A peaceful, wonderful time with friends, young and old...

Portland Starlight Run

Katie and Ray ran the Starlight 5k last weekend. The babes and I joined them, but due to no strollers on the course, were able to drink in the festivities without running. What a fun time!

The Starlight Run brings out the characters! The theme this year was "clowns". These were our favorites...

Mahatma Rice wanted to take photos of the babes advertising their product!!

YAY Katie and Ray!!

His coach and trainer accompanied us to the airport...

And the adventure home began. Our little peas were perfect angels the entire 12 hour flight!!
