We are walking out the door for the airport and America bound we are. Amazing to think the time has finally come to return home.
We are a swell of emotions, both excited and a bit sad to be leaving, but we know the Lord is putting good things before us.

Wow, I am still in shock that your time in Japan is finished (for now?). I am excited to follow your blog as you reintegrate into USA culture, I hear it can be rough, let me know what I should prepare for, Scotty and I head home Sept. 3rd.

Hi, I stumbled across your blog. Very interesting. Glad that you enjoyed your life in Shiga. There were some great shots. (The monkey head scratching was my favorite.)
Thanks for cleaning up the trash along the lake shore. You even rented a boat. Was that near Zeze Castle? It's embarrassing that people in Shiga (or people passing through) would litter. More embarrassing is that no one ever cleaned it up until you folks came along. Good job. (Good job in Fukui too.)
