While Ray and I were up in the hills, we stopped at a park so we could use the sani-can. When Ray walked through the door, this little fella was hanging in his way. Neither of us had ever seen a black widow before, but this guy's markings were undeniable. It gave us the jitters, but was awesome too!!

Beautiful Boise...
Well.... We're here. And we both love it already. Ray is in training camp for a couple weeks so he is busy. I have been staying with a friend from high school who has been a sweet delight. We have been dreaming up projects and planning for Thanksgiving. It already feels like home.
Kristin and I went on a little adventure to find branches to decorate with. These ones were bright red and beautiful as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving. The drive up the river was so gorgeous that I took Ray up there yesterday.
18 weeks!!!
After arriving in Boise, we made an appointment to be seen for my 18 week check up. We got right in with a great doctor, and he even took me in for an ultrasound to let us know we will be having a
BOY AND A GIRL!!!!
We are thrilled, super happy with the hospital here in Boise, and so blessed to be able to live a rare and awesome gift like twins.
I am now over with being sick, minus a few episodes here and there. Now I am enjoying watching my belly grow, feeling these little lives move, and thanking God daily for this miracle.

Canning and grapes....
It was so much fun to take advantage of the fruits that were going to go bad at the farm while in Sequim. We harvested the Concord grapes and made jelly and juice. Wonderful things to give away throughout the year! We also canned some of the cider for gifts and sharing the love!! So much fun time with my Mama too....
Apple pickin' and pressin'...
FUN Halloween weekend with Jake, Chelsea and Ashton pressing apples... it was sooo cool that they put this together, despite how busy they were with teaching, studying and preparing for guests at a huge Halloween bash too! We had a really nice time with family and look forward to remembering that good time when we open the jars of cider throughout the year!!
Weekend with the Laings
We headed down to Eugene for one last goodbye for the year, to dear friends the Laings.
This is a great pic of Joey and Ray. Joey was our ring bearer in our wedding. We got to go see his little league football game. It was a riot!!
We went over to some friends of the Laings to watch the football game on Saturday. The boys had to play on the gator during halftime...
